29th April, Full Moon in Scorpio.

Tonight the Moon will become full under the sign of Scorpio. 

This zodiac sign, so passional in both in physicality and spirituality, perfectly embodies the spirit of Beltane and the influence of Venus - which we are experiencing under the sign of Taurus. 
Due to its erotic charge and electricity, this is one of the most powerful lunations of entire year. 

In Asia it is known as Wesak, the Taurus (nurturing, joy) - Scorpio (unconscious,darkness) axis: the Buddha's entry into Nirvana. The key word of this full moon is "let go." 

As the scorpion, we can shed our old selves and let go of what no longer serves us so we can be born again. What do we need to let die to be reborn?

It is the ideal moment to practice meditation, magic to get rid of unwanted feelings or stagnant situations, sexual magic. 

The Goddess that best represents the the mystery and the duality of this lunation is Serqet, the deification of the scorpion itself. 

Goddess of fertility, nature, animals and magic; she could be both vindictive (poisonous) and a healer (as the one who can heal the poison). 

Guardian of the Duat, the kemetic underworld, she could both save lives in case of poisoning but also kill them - as patron of scorpions and snakes. The scorpion, being so tied to death, was also a symbol of rebirth in the afterlife.
